Brownies
The best brownies you will ever make - incredibly rich with dark chocolate. Perfect for all the chocolate lovers :)
Ingredients
225g unsalted butter
100g dark chocolate
200g sugar
4 eggs
50g plain flour
50g cocoa powder
pinch of salt
a square baking tray ( like this), greased with butter and covered with cocoa powder
Instructions
- put the butter and chocolate into a medium sized bowl and set over simmering water
- stir frequently until fully melted and set aside to cool down
- in a separate bowl, beat the eggs with sugar until pale and fluffy
- add the melted chocolate and butter to the egg mixture
- in another bowl, sift the flour and cocoa with salt
- add to the wet ingredients and stir until fully mixed
- bake in 180 C (360 F) for around 20-25 minutes
