green tea ice-cream

This is a perfect recipe for those of you who don't have an ice-cream machine (or can't be bothered to mix the ice-cream for 3 hours!). The recipe is based on whipped evaporated milk which stops the ice crystals from forming and makes the ice-cream really soft and scoop-able . The flavour is very delicate and tastes just like green tea latte!

ingredients

680 g unsweetened evaporated milk

6 tablespoons icing sugar

instructions

1. Pour the evaporated milk to a medium sized bowl and place in the freezer along with your mixer attachments for 30 minutes.

2. After the milk has chilled whip it with an electric mixer until stiff and resembling a whipped cream consistency.

3. Add the icing sugar and green tea, one tablespoon at a time, and beat after each addition until combined.

3. Transfer into a container and freeze for at least 3 hours (no need to mix!).

enjoy!
